With over a decade of experience, Amanda’s presence dominates the courtroom and commands respect. As an Assistant State’s Attorney in Prince George’s County, she prosecuted thousands of cases ranging from jailable traffic citations and juvenile matters to gun and drug offenses and serious felonies. She also served as the Drug Diversion Court prosecutor, completed specialized undercover narcotics training, and holds multiple firearm certifications—bringing a unique blend of legal acumen, trial skill, and tactical expertise to her practice.

Outside the courtroom, Amanda has established herself as a trusted legislative advisor in both the State House and County Councils. As Chief Legislative Officer for the Prince George’s County Council, she rewrote the procurement process for County contractors to impose strict penalties for violations of human rights.

In her role as Senior Assistant Attorney General, Amanda was instrumental in drafting the innovative language of the RAISE Act, signed into law by Governor Moore in early 2025.
